This lime green laptop, which can work by turning the handle to generate electricity operates at about half the speed of a normal laptop (500 mhz) and runs an open source operating system. Designed at the MIT Media Lab the main focus is to give children who do not have internet/computers the ability to learn and use a computer. Thailand, Brazil and Egypt are interested parties.
