As a whole, movement is technically astonishing, with 14 motors and over 100 custom-designed gears. Subprocessors and microprocessors provide a powerful processing capability and are responsible for central and image processing as well as motor control. A mini USB port and SD card slot allow online downloads to be updated seamlessly, and an infrared transceiver lets two more Pleo Robotic Life Form's interact with each other.

Every Pleo Robotic Life Form comes with a comprehensive companion guide, training leaf, authenticity ID Card, AC charger and a NiMH replaceable, rechargeable battery pack. The price of the robot is still a little bit steep, but if you consider how innovative this product is (an autonomous pet dinosaur!), it's a bargain. Pleo is cute and green and is the perfect addition to a kitchen countertop, office desk, or children's bedside table.
