Another innovative and fun remote-controlled gadget, inspired by the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, the World's Smallest Ornithopter. What's an Ornithopter you say? Its a mode of flying that was built from a concept drawing and flies without rotors or propellers, only by flapping its wings. While a life-sized ornithopter never became a reality, this miniature one flies with ease.
Using a dual-stick remote, you can fly this miniature machine anywhere indoors. It stays suspended by flapping its wings 40 times per second. Its digital proportional flight control allows for smooth turns, as well as climbing and diving action. Weighing in at only two ounces the Da Vinci Ornithopter is made of lightweight plastic and tear-resistant mylar covering the wings and tail of the sturdy frame.
The Ornithopter is about the size of a hummingbird and run on a rechargeable lithium battery. When you need more power simply use the controller and charge for 5 minutes. This charge will give your flying machine about 7 minutes of flying time.
