Renewable Energy Racers
Stumped for what to get a special little boy who already has a sizeable toy car collection? Surprise and delight him with remote controlled race cars. He may already have a few of these but he most likely won't have those that are powered by not one, but three various energy sources that are renewable. They are run by a solar panel, a mini windmill and a hydrogen fuel set. He can set his race cars using the sun, wind or water.
With the solar and wind power sources, he can go racing for at least 20 minutes if the sources have been charged for at least 10 to 30 minutes. The amount of time the power will last depends on the speed of the wind and how bright the sun is. With the hydrogen-powered charge, the cars will keep going for at least five minutes when it has been charged for at least three minutes.
The cars can all be charged using the remote control which can move the cars left and right and forward and backwards within a range of 10 feet. The set is suitable for children aged 5 and above.
